No "gripe" here...

Thank you to everyone who braved the nasty weather conditions to support our fourth annual Street Turkeys event.

Despite the elements, we were able to generate over $26,000 and hundreds of turkeys for the local food banks. Beverly Howard of Loaves and Fishes mentioned to me on the air that they can feed a person a holiday meal for a mere 19¢; you can see how your generosity will be utilized during the upcoming holiday season for people who can't afford a quality meal.

Thanks again to all the volunteers, sponsors and listeners who made Street Turkeys a rousing success.

It is indeed a Happy Thanksgiving.
